This is the fifth edition of the school "Topics in complex dynamics" at Universitat de Barcelona (if you wish yo can visit visit here the web page of TCD2011).

 

The school consists of three courses of 4.5 hours each and short talks by participants. The courses are intended for graduate students or recent Ph.D’s, and cover important tools in complex dynamics, starting from an introductory level. The afternoons are reserved for student talks, where they may present their work, either finished or in progress.

Speakers and courses for 2013 are the following.

• Thermodynamic formalism for transcendental entire maps, Krzysztof Baranski, Warsaw University, Poland.
• Entropy on Hubbard trees, Tan Lei, Université d'Angers, France.
• Dynamics of several complex variables. Structure of Hénon mappings, John H. Hubbard, Cornell University, USA.

Organizers: Núria Fagella (Univesitat de Barcelona), Antonio Garijo (Universitat Rovira i Virgili) and Xavier Jarque (Universitat de Barcelona).
