This is the second edition of the school “Topics in complex dynamics at Universitat de Barcelona" (visit here the web page of the first edition). The event will take place at IMUB (Institut de Matemàtiques de la Universitat de Barcelona), in the historical building of the University located at Pl. Universitat (see Location for more details).

This time around  the school is a CODY event, so we encourage all Ph.D. students of the CODY network to attend the meeting.  There will be three courses of 4.5 hours each. The courses are intended for graduate students and usually cover important tools in complex dynamics, starting from an introductory level. The afternoons are reserved for student talks, where they can present their work, either finished or in progress.

This year the lecturers and the subjects are:

Kari Astala (Aalto University, Findland): Holomorphic motions.

Walter Bergweiler (Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel, Germany): Complex analysis and transcendental dynamics.

Boguslawa Karpinska (Warsaw University of Technology, Poland): Cantor bouquets in the iteration of entire functions and Hausdorff dimension.
